Virtual Cafeteria Teaches You About Your Food Choices
When it comes to meal times, do you think you know how to make healthy choices? Or do you just grab whatever fancies you at the moment?
I just found out a place in which you can practise your meal time food selection skills in a fun and easy way!
It’s called a “Virtual Cafeteria”, and is an interactive tool that allows you to build meals based on actual menus from cafeterias in the Carrollton Farmers Branch Independent School District. It’s actually meant for the students and their parents to plan meals, but I think you’ll find it to be a fun and easy way to learn to make wiser choices when it comes to your own meal times.
Check it out at the Virtual Cafeteria site now. Just pick a school, and click on the “Go!” button to start.
Here’s a tip: Try selecting an Elementary, Middle School, and then a High School to practise your skills out on the different kinds of menus available. How good are you at choosing the tasty and yet healthy foods?
