A Slow Walk Makes You Lose Weight Faster

I’ve just read something really surprising…

Believe it or not, it appears that slow walking may be better than brisk walking when it comes to burning calories.

*gasp*

Researchers at the University of Colorado at Boulder found that obese people burned more calories walking at a slower pace for a longer time than walking at a faster speed.

Is that a revelation or what?

If you don’t do much exercise, then perhaps this piece of news is the best incentive for you to start.

I think the last sentence in the report sums it up best: “Any speed is fine. Some speeds are better than others, but get out and do it.”

So, don’t just sit there.

Get off the chair, turn off the computer, get out of the house and walk!
